Welcome Time Wasters! This week I turned to my phone to find a game to pass my time with. At first I downloaded Wind-up Knight 2, but unfortunately the game glitched out really bad on me to the point it was unplayable. Amnesia is one of those classic-like point and click adventure games that are filtering down into mobile devices like iPhones and Androids. This one is fun, but future chapters are a mystery.
While we do admire mobile games that are simple and fun to play, with Wellwater there really isn’t that much to it. You’ve got a well, a dog, a bee and about 15 minutes of gameplay.
Although it may conjure up images of peaceful childhood dreams, our reviewer finds that Starry Duo is a thrilling little game for the young, and the young at heart.
Think that a game has to be played on a huge screen to scare you? Then you haven’t tried Slender Man Origins on an iOS, Android or Kindle tablet. Trust us, you won’t want to play this one with the lights off.
Yet another of the Flappy Bird clones is the subject of our app review this week, and while Flappy Jack is a solid game about a flying pancake, it might make you a bit hungry after playing.
