The eyes of the world are on Japan this week for the huge Tokyo Games Show. However, one announcement from Sony may not make Japanese gamers very happy. Sony announced that within its home territory, the PlayStation 4 will not be released in 2013. In fact, Japan will need to wait until February 22nd of 2014 before they can purchase a PS4. Sony has surprised visitors at the Tokyo Games Show with the announcement of an entirely new piece of hardware. Called the PS Vita TV, it’s a miniature console that plugs directly into a television set. Once connected, the Vita TV can play Vita and PSP games, supports the DualShock 3 controller, and can access streaming video and TV shows.
