After the Christmas break, Railway Empire enters the final journey towards launch. The closed beta on STEAM now contains previews of the campaign, “Free Mode” and “Sandbox Mode.” After seeing feedback from players, developer Kalypso Media also added an optional, two-stage pause function for more control, revised the tutorial and gave all 41 locomotives individual sound sets.
