They Always Run is a sci-fi western shooter where you play a three-armed bounty hunter trying to take down the worst of the scum and villainy in the universe. The side-scrolling action is fast and incredible, though also not really intended for beginners.

Michael’s back with yet another classic for this week’s Retro Game Friday. It’s Metal Slug! The plot is fairly basic, and very Contra-like in that it deals with the characters Marco and Tarma attempting to stop a rebel army attempting a coup and creating a new world order.
Based on a fan-made homage to DOOM, Jupiter Hell is a turn-based strategy game that actually plays almost as fast as a shooter, assuming you want to approach the game that way. You will be outnumbered, outgunned and surrounded. So you have the demons right where you want them.
