There is a little bit of everything in Rising Lords, which on the surface plays like a medieval version of Civilization. But below the surface you have elements of city building, turn-based combat, management and even some board game elements to keep things interesting.
CrossCode has a long history of awards that is especially impressive for an indie title. But that did not keep it from sitting on Vince’s backlist, until now. And he’s really glad he finally unwrapped this grand gift to gamers.
