It seems that old games continue to be granted new life in the form of community generated mods.

An extremely active community has sprung up around Deus Ex, with several people considering it the best game ever made. To support that game, developers have been working on a free mod that basically gives players an entirely new game to play using the Deus Ex engine and world.

It has taken seven years, and according to the makers, consumed the lives of countless developers. The result is hundreds of hours of new dialog and game play to explore.
