The launch of the Nintendo Wii is just around the corner. The next-gen system will arrive with an eclectic lineup of innovative games, from Wii Sports to traditional franchises like Madden football. The lineup of games that will appear on or around launch will all take advantage of the system's innovative wireless controller in some form, but perhaps none as overtly or as intuitively as the brand new franchise from Konami debuting exclusively on the Nintendo Wii, called Elebits!

Elebits is a revolutionary game of hide and seek as players search high and low for Elebits, mischievous little creatures that are the source of the game world's electrical power. Players must use the unique functionality of the innovative Wii controller to push, pull, lift and throw anything within the realistic game environment, as they attempt to track down these playful little creatures. As they capture Elebits, players will be able to further interact with the environment, using the little creatures to provide power to different electrical implements, from flash lights to cars, that will help them in their quest through the game world.

Elebits is Konami's first game for the Nintendo Wii and takes full advantage of the unique Wii controller, resulting in one of the most innovative, quirky and thoroughly entertaining games launching this year for the console.
