Albion Online, the fantasy sandbox MMORPG developed by Sandbox Interactive, announced details of its upcoming content update: Radiant Wilds.

The game is free to play and can be found on the Steam platform.

Launching April 13, Radiant Wilds refreshes the world of Albion with a sweeping visual upgrade, technical improvements, and new systems that reshape how players explore and compete:

• A major visual overhaul refreshing Albion’s biomes with improved lighting, vegetation, textures, and water visuals
• Performance improvements that increase stability and responsiveness, especially during large-scale battles
• The Armory, a new system that highlights effective equipment builds based on real gameplay data
• A 1v1 Arena offering structured solo PvP duels in ranked matches
• Improvements to core systems including the Destiny Board, looting, and mounted combat
• Enhanced controller support with improved navigation, menus, and targeting
