Billy White writes the weekly Time Waster review for GiN. As you might expect, this makes him the embodiment of procrastination at GiN, which works out perfectly since his job is to find fun ways to waste time. Billy came up with the idea behind GiN's Weekly Time Waster when he realized that a lot of great but smaller games don't get the attention they deserve. It helps that he spends a lot of his free time spelunking the Internet for the best browser based games. When not "wasting time" Billy likes to delve into the world of RPG's, and it doesn't matter what type of RPG it is. From Elder Scrolls to Final Fantasy and all the way to tabletop RPG's, Billy loves them all. To go along with this, he loudly proclaims to anyone who will listen that Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross are the two best games to ever exist and hopes that one day his write-in campaign will convince Square Enix to revisit the series.

Ready, Set, Battle!

Billy hits the track this week as he wastes his time with Gas Guzzlers! You think he’d be past all that but, apparently, young men still like driving fast in circles. It’s Billy’s life in the Time Waster!

It’s Time Waster time again! This week Billy is costing his employers money by being a pirate! And not in some file sort of way. No, he’s got the Jack Sparrow thing going in the new Pirates of the Caribbean game!

Billy picks up after the storm, gets his power back, and then runs into another disaster in the form of Duncan Castle Defense, a game with a huge frustration factor to battle.

A Whole New World!

Billy upgrades to an Android smartphone and finds a whole new universe of games to waste time with! His first distraction is the awesome fighting RPG Rage of Bahamut.

The Time Waster this week is Cardboard Box Assembler, and no, it’s not some odd factory job training video. Instead, it’s a pretty ingenious puzzle game from Adult Swim that’s wacky and challenging.

It’s Time Waster Time! Billy’s recovering from moving and found joy in the tiniest of things: Tiny Dream. The game brings the small to the world as you search for the keys to unlock doors. He’s more than pleased with it and you will be, too!
