Hello Time Wasters!

Super Ninja Skydiving Plus Zombies! Just let that sink in for a bit’got it? Good, because this is our time waster this week. Now, usually you can’t judge a game by its name but this is one of those rare cases where we can. For example what does Super Ninja Skydiving Plus Zombies contain? Well exactly like you would expect it’s filled with a Ninja, Zombies, and Skydiving, but how does this all come together to create a game?

It does surprisingly well to be honest!

The game starts us off with a goofy intro from our ninja master about how being thrown from a plane to fight zombies and reach our parachute is a form of training. Frankly though I think the old man is just a bitter. The story is weird and funny which is enough for me to give it a look.

Gameplay in Super Ninja Skydiving Plus Zombies (thank goodness for copy and paste) starts out with our Ninja hero jumping from a plane and slicing a dicing his way through hordes of zombies to reach his parachute pack at the bottom of the level. Controls are easy to get a hold of. Click where you want your ninja to go and he’ll swing his sword all the way there. While falling though our ninja friend needs to collect bread as well.

Fresh sliced bread might sound good to you and me, but ninja here wants the bread whole so don’t go slicing it up with your Ninjato (a ninja sword, not to be confused with the Katana used by Samurai). Besides just being a collectible you’ll also want bread to heal you from those nasty zombie bites and scratches.

Speaking of collectibles, the game also has power up strung throughout the level. These range from super speed to bonus combos and everything in-between. Pick them up to increase your gaming experience and high score!

Visually, Super Ninja Skydiving Plus Zombies is a treat as well. The simple graphics compliment the over the top blood and gore and just downright ridiculous facial expressions of our ninja and picking up power ups has a hilarious animation to boot.

To add to the overall experience, Super Ninja Skydiving Plus Zombies has a great soundtrack reminiscent of a classic Nintendo game (which is always a winner with me).

With 45 levels of ninja skydiving and zombie slaying action, Super Ninja Skydiving Plus Zombies is a great way to waste your time. It’s free to play for those on the PC, and like most small phone games will only run you a dollar on your Android or Blackberry. Pick it up, enjoy it, suggest it to your friends and then play it again when browsing through your phone a month form now.

Super Ninja Skydiving Plus Zombies skydives, slices and dices its way to 4 GiN Gems out of 5!
