Red Lion Turns One, Announces Profit

Red Lion Interactive has announced that it has just celebrated its one year anniversary and has exceeded all its first-year business and financial goals even reaching profitability in its first twelve months. Launched in September 2007, the company has rapidly solidified its position as the leading distributor of video game accessories in the United States.

Founded by a team of industry veterans including Tom LaVoie, a former buyer for national retail chains, Red Lion Interactive is in a unique position to dominate the peripherals distribution arm of the video game industry. In a very short period of time, Red Lion has developed strategic partnerships with all of the leading manufacturers of video game accessories including PDP (manufacturers of the Pelican line of accessories); Mad Catz; Nyko; Penguin United; Teknocreations and Outrageous.

Stated Tom LaVoie: "With gamers spending over half a billion dollars on video game accessories last year in the United States, game peripherals have become a powerful niche market providing retailers significant profits and providing healthy growth for the supply chain." Continued LaVoie: "With our experience in the video game industry, and with the trusted relationships we have developed with all of our business partners, we anticipate, and look forward to, significant future growth."
