Gaijin Entertainment and the Matter Team are pleased to announce that the first major update “Fire Walk” is already available for the hardcore online shooter Active Matter. Players now have access to the new industrial-style location “The Dam,” new monsters and anomalies, and an expanded arsenal of weapons and gear. The interface has also been improved, along with animations and visual effects. The new update trailer will absolutely fire you up before trying the game itself — Active Matter is available for purchase on the Gaijin Store.

New weapons include the M249 machine gun, the Origin-12 shotgun, the RPG-7 anti-tank rocket launcher, the SVDM sniper rifle, the AEK-971 and AN-94 Abakan assault rifles, and the PP-19-01 submachine gun. In addition, players can now set the zeroing distance of their weapon, equip optional muzzle brakes and flash suppressors, new titanium armor plates, and EDH-Gen V and TFMK-I helmets with active hearing protection.
