Baltimore Comic-Con 2025 Announces Key Panel Guests

The Baltimore Comic-Con returns for its 26th anniversary show at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore’s beautiful Inner Harbor this October 17-19, 2025. Tickets are available now for General Admission, VIP and Fan Packages.

The fun starts on Friday with superstars Brian K. Vaughan, Derek Kirk Kim, Jeph Loeb, and Tom King talking about The Art of Reinvention across comics and other media. Also, celebrate 35 years of the seminal miniseries Breathtaker by Mark Wheatley and Marc Hempel, and writer Mark Waid returns to tackle trivia from The New History of DC Comics. New publisher Ignition Press presents a panel of their own, and we’ll host a live episode of the Random Acts of Comics podcast with Todd Dezago and friends, while Chip Kidd and Michael Cho, the team behind The Avengers in the Veracity Trap!, discuss their collaboration. Our spotlight panels shine a light on cartoonists Stan Sakai and Jeff Smith, writer Chris Claremont, acclaimed actor Carl Lumbly, and Phineas and Ferb voice actors Vincent Martella and David Errigo Jr. And aspiring artists can get their portfolios reviewed by DC Comics Senior Editor Brittany Holzherr.

On Saturday, students of cartooning learn the basics in Hit the Ground Running: Comics 101 with School of Visual Arts instructor Jamal Igle, and find out which Tools of the Trade cartoonists like David Petersen and Zoe Thorogood must have at their drawing boards. Check out what’s coming from publishers Oni Press and Bad Idea, and learn how to turn your passion into a profession with the Maryland Institute College of Art. And you can hear the story of comics retailing with a screening of the award-winning documentary, Shopping for Superman. Plus, our spotlight panels feature creators Tom King, Paul Pope, Mike Grell, and James Robinson, as well as on-screen Weasley siblings Bonnie Wright, James Phelps, and Oliver Phelps, and legendary actor Giancarlo Esposito. And you won’t want to miss the Baltimore Comic-Con Yearbook art auction. On top of that, there’s the Adult Cosplay Contest, and aspiring artists can get their portfolios reviewed by Ignition Press Publisher Filip Sablik.

Things don’t let up on Sunday with Comics Aloud!, featuring David Petersen, Mark Buckingham, and more! Plus, creators Chris Giarrusso, Franco, Andy Runton and more confirm that Comics Are for Kids! And check out Metal Ninja Studios’ panel How to Make a Comic, and learn how to go From Digital to Print with Global Comix and Comics Wellspring, and about Comic Book Grading with the team from CGC Comics.
