Hey all I’m back with another entry in Shin’s journey in a new world for this week’s Translation Necessary Thursday. It’s The New Gate Volume 02 by Kazanami Shinogi!
Plot: The plot of this second volume deals with Shin looking for his first support NPC Schnee who has been traveling around the world while waiting for him to return. It’s not a super amazing volume, but it’s not terrible either.
Characters: We get to finally meet Schnee, and she’s pretty amazing as a female lead. That being said the rest of the cast is fairly small at this point still, with it mainly being Shin and Tiera.
Overall: An okay second entry into a series that isn’t the best, but isn’t the worst either. There are reasons I haven’t covered this series in five years.
