Hey all, I’m back with a question for readers for this week’s Video Game Tuesday. It’s all about console generations.

What about them?: Well, I’m curious if people are happy with how long the last generation of consoles including the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Wii lasted before the new models were released, or if you felt that they were around for too long?

What are your thoughts?: I’m kind of torn. I agree that it’s good to get console upgrades semi-frequently every 6 years or so to keep up with the latest PC advancements, but I was honestly happy with how long the last generation of consoles lasted. I don’t exactly live a very wealthy life. I frequently have to save for months or a year in advance to afford something expensive like a new PC or console. So not having to buy a new console every few years is very nice. That puts me very much on the fence about this topic.

Let me know what you think. Please leave your thoughts in the comments down below.
