Hey all, I’m back with the second entry in a rather bizarre light novel series with the adventures of Komari and her army for this week’s Translation Necessary Thursday. It’s “The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess Volume 02” by Kotei Kobayashi.

Plot: This second volume is just as good as the first, with Komari much more settled in as the leader of the Seventh Army. We also get to learn a bit more about Komari’s backstory.

Characters: Villhaze is still my favorite character by far in the series, but one of the newcomer characters in this volume named Sukuna is also great. All the characters are still pretty awesome, though Komari’s crazy subordinates are probably the standouts of the side characters.

Overall: A solid second entry in a very entertaining fantasy series.
