Chella hails from the UK and joined Gameindustry.com around the year 2000. It was so many moons ago, she can't quite remember. Back then, the only women you saw in the games industry were in bikinis and vertiginous heels at trade shows - oh how times have changed, kind of. Chella started as a humble reviewer, but soon became our European Correspondent and keeps us on top of industry happenings across the Pond.
She tends to like the weird Japanese games we've never heard of, so that's good for making us look all-encompassing and stuff. Chella does like games, so don't be fooled by the copious amount of columns devoted to bemoaning the lack of variety in the industry. When she's not surfing (the sea, not the internet) or camping up mountains, Chella likes a good action RPG (especially if it's sci-fi), anything with a good narrative and like we said, the weirder the better. She's also a regular in the GiN Lounge, but that's just because we like her accent.

James and Chella thought it could never happen, but then Sony announced Shenmue III and the Last Guardian at E3. As mega fans of these series, they Argue the Toss, as only they can.

The Xbox press conference at E3 had plenty of good news for gamers, including backwards compatibility, bringing 360 games to Xbox One owners. This is surely intended to urge gamers to upgrade to Xbox One.
The release date of Fallout 4 was announced at Bethesda’s E3 2015 press conference, alongside news of Dishonored 2 and DOOM 4. The game has been in development for four years and begins in the pre-bomb world. Players then wake up 200 years later and emerge as the sole survivor of vault 111.
Bethesda started E3 2015 with a bang and a lot of head shots with its DOOM gameplay trailer. Id Software’s legendary shooter is back, with more gore, bigger guns and just more of everything.
E3 2015 kicked off with the Bethesda press conference, which announced Dishonored 2. The gorgeous, steampunk styling remains, but this time the trailer features a female protagonist. Players can choose to be Corvo Attano or Emily Kaldwin. Each assassin has their own set of powers, skills and weapons, changing your playing style accordingly. From the trailer, it’s fair to assume that Emily is the default player character. She was the heir to the throne in the first game and Dishonored 2 takes place 15 years after the demise of the Lord Regent. The rat plague is no more, but Emily’s … Continue reading E3 2015: Dishonored 2 Announced→
