The Casual Games Association, an international trade organization for the video games industry, will be hosting the ninth annual Casual Connect Eastern Europe in Belgrade, Serbia on November 10 – 12, 2014.
“Eastern Europe is a hotspot for game development, and we are excited to be heading to the energetic city of Belgrade,” says Jessica Tams, Managing Director of Casual Games Association.
Casual Connect is a professional conference created to support the mass market game community by gathering the top developers, publishers, distributors and others involved in related industries for networking opportunities and lectures created by a board of industry members. Lectures cover an array of topics, including development, emerging trends and the future of the industry across various platforms.
Along with lectures, attendees can also look forward to the Indie Prize Showcase and the IDEA Showcase. The Indie Prize Showcase is a place for qualified indie development teams to showcase their games at Casual Connect Eastern Europe. Participants are able to learn and network with other indie developers, as well as compete for a number of awards.
The International Design, Entertain, and Amaze (IDEA) Showcase is an opportunity for established developers looking for international partners for publishing, user acquisition, game performance monitoring and logistical support. Participants from many different countries come together to present their newest projects during the conference.
