Trekker’s Delight Looks at Star Trek: Lower Decks “The Inner Fight” Episode

The Trekker’s Delight crew tackles Star Trek: Lower Decks ninth episode of season four “The Inner Fight” this week, and this episode is a doozy. It hearkens back to the origins of the series title Lower Decks and gives us yet another look at Mariner’s trauma. This episode reminds us that while Lower Decks is most definitely a comedy, it’s also a character-driven drama. Lower Decks doesn’t let us forget that these characters feel pain and struggle, and as a result, we get a much more honest Trek than we have in some of the other franchise installments.
