Get Pets in WoW – The Best Companions for Hunters

WoW enables you to pick various roles and use their abilities accordingly. Some of these roles or classes seem more exciting; one such class is “Hunter.” When you play as a Hunter, you are not alone, but you also get a pet as your companion. This is also the only reason why several players opt for Hunter as their preferred role.

WoW lets you tame your pet so you can utilize its abilities to the utmost level. This also makes things easy to manage while you are in the game. For example, your pet hunts on your behalf and makes it a tough battle for the opponent. Your pet also absorbs the damage and lets you hunt in style.

Other than this, players, while leveling to Level 60, encounter Zovaal, the ultimate boss, to kill and complete the level. However, it doesn’t come easy, and many times players do not have enough gear requirements. In all these cases, they opt for Zovaal, the Jailer Kill boost that lets them have the boss defeated and receive all the perks and gears that it drops.

The Advantages of Choosing Hunter in Wow

When you have chosen Hunter as the class, you get the power to target and hunt from a distance. This keeps the enemies at bay and you as a winner almost every time.

You can also plan some traps around you and catch your enemies while they move forward to you. While playing the PvP, you can detect the movements of the opponents and take them down if necessary.

As another benefit, you can catch any creature and make it your pet or companion. This happens when you are in the zones of Azeroth; this allows you to become a better hunter and have several pets with different powers.

How to Get Your First Pet in WoW?

You can catch the pets while playing in the areas of Azeroth. You need to check first if you are able to make the creature your pet. For this, you need to use the skill “Beast Lore” on whichever creature you want as your pet. After the calculation, it will let you know if you can obtain the creature or not.

However, before doing this, you need to be very careful since when you cast this spell, you become 100% armor-less. You can also be dead if you are not careful enough. You should hence create a Freezing Trap in front of you and be away from possible threats. Once the Beast Lore channeling completes, you get your first pet.

You should also know that your pet can be upgraded to have even more power and support you more. This needs time and effort; in the beginning, the pet can only catch the opponents at the same level as you.

If you play in the Classic servers, you can have three pets in your arsenal. You should always pick up pets that are more suitable to you and to whom you can dedicate your time and resources.

 Different Categories of Pets

A player should always be aware of the different categories the pets fall in. Each category of pet has different motives and abilities. Knowing the category lets you be clear about which pet you want as your companion.

Offensive Pets: The pets of this category ensure the reduced health of your opponents. Hence they have a high damage property with additional abilities. Cats, Raptors, Ravagers, Wind Serpents, and Bats are the pets of the Offensive category.

Defensive Pets: These pets become your tanks that absorb the damage that is done to you. This way, you can attack the enemies more while getting less damage on you. These pets are more like armor to you. Turtles, Crabs, Crocolisks, and Scorpio fall in this category.

General Pets: These are pets that you can take around whenever exploring an unknown area. They will work like your tank, however not as good as defensive pets, but will still protect you. Wolves, Hyenas, Dragonhawks, Nether Rays, and Carrion Birds fall in this category.
