Dungeons And Kingdoms Deploys To Steam Early Access

Camlann Games and solo developer Uncle Grouch Gaming are thrilled to release Dungeons and Kingdoms to Steam Early Access. Dungeons and Kingdoms is a medieval fantasy kingdom builder, management sim and dungeon crawler RPG hybrid. It features highly customizable structure building, familiar survival mechanics, deep villager management and rewarding third-person dungeon delving combat.

This highly anticipated title had well over 200,000 Steam wish lists and was steadily climbing the Steam Pre-Release Charts ahead of the launch.

The Early Access release features two game modes: Sandbox Mode and Creative Mode.

Sandbox Mode provides a tutorial, survival basics, player tasks, villager management tasks, resources gathering, construction, terraforming, village defense and dungeon adventuring. Additionally, Steam Workshop integration allows players to create custom structures and share with the greater player community.

Creative Mode provides a fully unlocked, unlimited freeform building and exploration experience. According to the developer, a lot of folks have asked “can you see and do everything in the screenshots and trailers.” The answer is – YES. For example, none of our Press Kit images or videos are “art.” To create the key art, we spent 10 hours in Creative Mode building a custom kingdom, spawned a horse, armor and weapons then rode to the top of a mountain and snapped a screenshot. So, what you see in the screenshots and trailers, that is on the Steam Early Access roadmap for future progression in Sandbox Mode. However, all of it is available in Creative Mode to unlock and experiment with right away.
