Hey all I’m back with the sequel to one of my more enjoyed novel’s this past year for this week’s Translation Necessary Thursday. It’s Fushi no Kami Volume 02 by Amakawa Mizuumi!

Plot: The plot picks up shortly after the last entry with Ash and Maika headed to the local city where they attend the local academy and continue Ash’s plans to regain the comforts of his past life. Honestly I enjoyed this entry quite a bit, though the cliché that takes place is kind of a drag.

Characters: The expansion of the cast is great, though Ash and Maika really take the stage, though it seems that a newcomer Arthur will also be joining our leading duo to become a trio instead. Honestly I enjoyed the new characters quite a bit, and Arthur in particular, though Maika is still my overall favorite.

Overall: A very good sequel, and entry in a series that is shaping up to be one of my favorites.
