This week for Sensate Saturday I’ve got a Quick Review for a series I just recently stumbled upon! It’s Kiss Death by Kano Yasuhiro!

Plot Synopsis: Two Years ago a UFO was spotted above a mountain and five girl’s futures were forever changed. Now it’s two years later and Tozu Shingo, a 16 year old high school boy is wandering in the same spot that the UFO was spotted at two years before hoping to get a photo, unfortunately for Shingo, someone else has a completely different idea of how the day is going to go…

Plot: I honestly wasn’t expecting it to start off the way it did, and boy did it instantly hook me. I’m torn between writing this post and binge reading the entire series up to current release just to sate my desire for more of this story. Thankfully for all of you, I’m choosing the former and you can thank my diamond hard self control for that. If that doesn’t tell you how good the story is, well long story made very short, I found it awesome.

Characters: The five girls seem to be our female leads in this story, and I’m honestly curious as to how the story will play out with the weird circumstances after the reveal at the end of this first chapter. Shingo on the other hand looks to be pretty awesome, and by awesome I mean freaking kick ass. Hopefully this story doesn’t screw up, but so far I’m very intrigued.

Art: The art is what you would expect from a series serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump’s Online publication, which is to say amazing.

Overall: Definitely going to say give this a read based off this first chapter, hopefully I’m not wrong, but my instinct says this should be an awesome series.
