Hey all, I’m back for this week’s Synth Saturday with the fifth set of chapters in a Fic that centers on someone who is reincarnated as Brock from the Pokemon anime and games, who is left in charge of 9 younger siblings in addition to running the Pewter City Gym. It’s Chapters 26-30 of “Hard Enough-Pokemon SI” by Viva01.

Plot: This set of chapters continues with Brock dealing with ever more frustrations due to the fame he brought down on himself with his battle against Lance since his negative reaction to the Pewter City Gym. There’s pretty much no action in this set of chapters unlike the last set which had a bit, if only just.

Characters: We get to meet a few more new characters, but overall it’s just shoring up characters we’ve gotten to know over the prior 25 chapters for the most part in this Fic. Still, of all the new ones, Lawrence is easily my favorite with him being a real character.

Overall: A solid, though pretty much action free set of chapters in a very good Fic.
