Hey all, I’m back for this week’s Synth Saturday with the fourth set of chapters in a Fic that centers on someone who is reincarnated as Brock from the Pokemon anime and games, who is left in charge of 9 younger siblings in addition to running the Pewter City Gym. It’s Chapters 20-25 of “Hard Enough-Pokemon SI” by Viva01.

Plot: This set of chapters continues dealing with the repercussions of Brock’s battle with Lance and all the headaches that come with it. Mostly this set of chapters isn’t too big on action, but that’s fine because it really doesn’t need it. Still, if you are expecting it, then you might be disappointed. That isn’t to say it’s completely absent, but it isn’t the focus.

Characters: We get to meet a few more new characters but more importantly, we continue to learn what Brock’s had to go through since reincarnating in this Fic’s world as Brock. My favorite new character is easily Empress though.

Overall: A solid, if not action packed, set of chapters in a very good Fic.
