Hey all, I’m back with a look at more fantastic fan fiction. This time, we’ll continue with Heero and Murrue’s battles in the Cosmic Era for this week’s Synth Saturday. It’s Chapters 16-20 of “New Battlefield” by operation.meteor!

Plot: The plot of this set of chapters deals both with the aftermath of the last set, which ended with a huge climax and brings us to the next part of the growing war between the Coordinators and regular Humans. Honestly, this is another one of my favorite sets of chapters because it’s freaking huge with massive battles occurring. I won’t spoil which, because they’re all amazing. Honestly, I love this “New Battlefield” Fic, and this set of chapters contains some of the best examples of why it’s such an awesome one.

Characters: We don’t get introduced to too many new characters here, but we do get to see some expanded on in ways most won’t expect. Frankly, the stars of this set of chapters are as always Heero and Murrue, but Kira, Athrun, and Mu also shine.

Overall: Another amazing set of chapters in one of my favorite Fics. Get to reading it if you haven’t already. You won’t be disappointed.
