This week for Manga Monday I’m covering a series that ended on a poor note, but otherwise was fairly good. It’s History’s Strongest Disciple Kenichi by Shun Matsuena!
Plot Synopsis: The story focuses on Kenichi Shirahama, a 16-year-old high school student and a long-time victim of bullying. At the beginning of the story, he befriends transfer student Miu Fūrinji; and desires to become stronger, he follows her to Ryōzanpaku, a dojo housing several masters of diverse martial arts, led by her grandfather Hayato Fūrinji.
Plot: Kenichi is the saddest, most pathetic main character I’ve read since Tsuna from Reborn!. That said he goes through some great character development and becomes a real badass while still maintaining his humble attidue. The series is one long battle series however, if that isn’t your thing you will hate this series.
Characters: I love all the different masters at Ryōzanpaku, each of them is flawed in hilarious ways, the Karate master being a notorious drunken brawler for example. The rest of the cast is also very interesting.
Art: The art for this series is amazing, and while it does focus a bit too much on fan service it’s otherwise really amazing.
Overall: If you want a good martial arts series you need to read this one.
For those who like: Martial Arts, Comedy, Action, Lots of Fight scenes, Weakling Main Characters.
Not for those who don’t like: Any of the above.
I have a brand new anime or manga featuring a normal sixteen year old boy named Adam lee he lives with his parents his older brother and his younger sister in a normal average medium sized house in Tokyo Japan his dad named Seth is a workaholic salaryman or businessman or salesman his mom named Esther is a stay at home caretaker his older brother named Jared goes to college or university while his younger sister named Ruth attends elementary school.
we see that Adam and his family live next door to a witch named Earlene she has pale light white skin long black hair brown eyes she is statuesque athletic muscular beautiful sexy she has gigantic breasts long slender legs and a big ass she would wear a impossibly low neckline indigo kimono she does not have on any undergarments underneath her kimono she also does wear any footwear going barefooted she lives in a traditional old Japanese house.
