Hey all I’m back for this week’s Bookish Wednesday. It’s Vainqueur the Dragon, Vainqueur Book 01, by Maxime Durand!

Plot: This isn’t your typical Isekai series, or even a typical LitRPG series. It’s much more humorous than most and that is because the main characters are a bumbling idiot human and a dragon.  What follows that fateful meeting is laughter inducing. Vainqueur is very much not human and his viewpoints are utterly hilarious to listen to. The plot is pretty fun, but don’t expect a super serious or dark story. If you are looking for those this will only disappoint you.

Characters: Vainqueur and Victor are our two main characters and they are both really fun, one is very much an arrogant jerk who forces everyone to do things his way, and the other is the poor sap who gets to become his minion or become food, rather than emergency rations if he was a minion.

Overall: A very fun book, and well worth reading and or listening to.

For those who like: Isekai, LitRPGs, Comedy, Action, Adventure, Hilarious Plots, Fun Cast of Characters.

Not for those who don’t like: Any of the above, but seriously give this book a try.
