Guitar Hero Franchise Is Canned

There will be no more Guitar Hero games. Activision Blizzard announced today that starting immediately, it is shutting down production and all publishing for the Guitar Hero franchise. "Due to continued declines in the music genre, the company will disband Activision Publishing’s ‘Guitar Hero’ business unit and discontinue development on its ‘Guitar Hero’ game for 2011," the company said in a statement. Dead Money Coming To PS3, New DLC Gets Simo Releases

Bethesda Software announced that the Dead Money DLC expansion to Fallout New Vegas will be released for the PS3 via the PlayStation Network and on the PC via the Steam download service on February 22nd. In addition, the company confirmed that three more add-on packs were in the works and would be released in the coming months. Unlike Dead Money, which came out exclusively for the Xbox 360 first, these new packs will release for all platforms simultaneously.
