Free League Publishing launched not one, but two beautifully illustrated and finely crafted expansions for the multiple award-winning Dragonbane RPG on Kickstarter: Arkand City of Waves and Flames and the Book of Magic.

The campaign was fully funded in less than ten minutes, surpassing its initial goal of $25,000 and raising over $75,000 in the first half hour.

The Kickstarter includes a series of exciting stretch goals, ranging from a beautiful, foldable map of the city of Arkand to a high-quality plastic miniature of Master Akelius, a mysterious and remarkable new character featured in Arkand – City of Waves and Flames.

For players new to the world of Dragonbane, this is the perfect place to get started. The boxed core game set – including complete rules and a full campaign – is included in several reward levels and as a separate add-on in this Kickstarter.

As a special offering in this campaign, there will be special limited-edition versions of both Arkand City of Waves and Flames and the Book of Magic, with deluxe faux leather covers and gold foil stamping. Backers who support the Kickstarter campaign at any pledge level that begets physical rewards within the first 48 hours will receive an early pledge bonus: a 216mm by 279mm print of the cover art of their choosing.
