Hey all, I’m back with the second entry in Kousuke’s new life in another world for this week’s Translation Necessary Thursday. It’s “Survival in Another World With My Mistress Volume 02” by Ryuto.

Plot: This second volume deals with the continuing struggle against the invaders of Sylphyel’s kingdom, and Kousuke helping out with his bizarre crafting abilities and powers in this other world like those found in Minecraft and other such survival video games he had played on Earth.  Kousuke continues to work on his powers and has to get strong enough to build a giant stone wall around the elven village for protection.

Characters: Kousuke and Sylphyel are still the main characters, but we get to expand on the secondary characters a bit with some more focus on others like Aira, the mage, and Pirna, the harpy scout.

Overall: A very solid second entry in this fun adventure with a main character that has abilities like in the world of Minecraft.
