Hey all, I’m back with another entry to one of my favorite light novel series for this week’s Translation Necessary Thursday. It’s “Legend Volume 06” by Kannazuki Kou.

Plot: This volume begins with Rei and Set having returned from dealing with the outbreak of Magic Fever and after returning to Gilm running into the A-Ranked Party led by Elm. Now Rei has to deal with Rhodes, Elm’s son, being sent together with him on a subjugation quest. Frankly this part is a little rough, but that’s very likely intentional given how Rei and Rhodes really don’t care for each other.

The rest of the volume is more along the lines of the first half of the last volume, in that Rei is just hanging around Gilm mostly and not off on an adventure. No, he gets to deal with something much more challenging, being a teacher.

Characters: We get a couple new characters, but they aren’t really the strongest. However, one of my favorite characters Milena returns in this volume, so it was fun to see her fawn over Set again.

Overall: A much less action-packed volume in general, but still a solid entry in the series.
