Hey all, I’m back for this week’s Synth Saturday with the second set of chapters in the sequel to one of my favorite Fics “Gundam Wing: Journey to a New Battlefield.” It’s Chapters 6-10 of “Gundam Wing: Destiny’s Call” by operation.meteor.

Plot: After being surprised by the arrival of some of his close friends, Heero has finally returned back to Earth after having intervened at the Armory One debacle. But things quickly move on, and the upcoming Second Bloody Valentine War is looming ever closer. I enjoyed this set of chapters, and though it’s not initially high in action it does pick up. And it definitely lays the foundation of some of the big changes that operation.meteor has for the story of SEED Destiny.

Characters: We get to see a few more new faces for this set of chapters, but the main focus is on the main characters and the crew of the Minerva. There are also some old returning characters from the previous Fic that make their debut in this set of chapters.

Overall: A solid set of chapters, if a bit light on the action at first.
