Hey all, I’m back with the third entry in a series I covered a while back for this week’s Retro Game Friday. It’s Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones.

Plot: The plot is kind of a mess, as it involves time travel and the various shenanigans that happen due to it being beyond messy. It’s not a bad story but anything involving time travel can get confusing.

Gameplay: The gameplay is a mix of two of the other Prince of Persia series titles, including the action from Warrior Within and the exploration/parkouring of Sands of Time, although it sadly doesn’t do it flawlessly. Still, it was pretty fun, unless you got the Wii version in which case I pity you for having to put up with the Wii motion controls.

Art: The art hasn’t aged very well, particularly in the Wii version of the game. It’s not terrible, but it isn’t anywhere close to being even good by today’s standards.

Music: The music was great though with it being pretty epic and well done.

Overall: An okay entry in the Sands of Time series, but not as well done as the initial entry.
