Hey all, I’m back with the sequel to a book I covered a couple months ago for this week’s Bookish Wednesday. It’s “Towers of Acalia Volume 2” by Atlas Kane.

Plot: The plot of this second entry is pretty similar to the first, with just a bit more characters this time around with the inclusion of Brea to Rin’s team. That said, it has got plenty of action still. As before, this series showcases very lowkey versions of the LitRPG and Cultivation genres of fiction. Frankly, the plot was okay. It wasn’t outstanding by my standards, but as longtime readers will know I have very high standards.

Characters: Like I mentioned above, we get a few new characters this time around, though my favorite newcomer is probably Siobhan. The characters in this volume are still pretty good, though they are not outstanding, much like the plot.

Overall: A solid, though not outstanding second volume for the Towers of Acalia series.
