The Wastelander Finished Collecting Soda

Reports are coming in that The Wastelander has finished collecting soda! This is just a little slow news day joke for our friends playing Fallout 3. It's something Three Dog says on his news program one day to correspond with a quest. He then complains about it being a slow news day. Steam EA Games Launch In Europe

Valve today announced Spore, Spore Creepy & Cute Parts Pack, Mass Effect, Need for Speed Undercover and EA SPORTS FIFA Manager 2009 are available now to gamers in most of Europe, the United States and Canada via Steam, a leading platform for PC games and digital content with over 15 million accounts around the world. In the coming weeks, Mirror's Edge, Command & Conquer Red Alert 3, and Dead Space, will be added to the catalog of EA's titles available via Steam.

Despite Economy, Holiday Game Sales Stay Strong

People may be tightening their belts as the economic crisis continues, but video game sales remain a relatively bright spot despite the hard times. NPD Group, a market research firm that watches the industry, reports that U.S. retail sales of video games hit $2.91 billion in November, which is a 10 percent spike from last year. For 2008, sales through November are about $16 billion, which is up 22 percent.
