Lighthouse Gets European Publishing License

Leading worldwide videogame publisher Lighthouse Interactive, part of SilverBirch Inc.'s (SVB:TSXV) video game division, announced today that it has signed a Publisher License Agreement with Nintendo of Europe GmbH. This allows Lighthouse Interactive to publish and develop products on Wii and NintendoDS platforms. Steve Wall, Cofounder and Vice President of Lighthouse Interactive said, "This is a significant milestone in the continued growth of the company. It gives us the opportunity to further expand our product catalogue and take Lighthouse Interactive to the next level. We look forward to working with Nintendo."

TAITO Considers Suing Leipzig Convention

TAITO Corporation (TAITO), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Square Enix Co., Ltd., today stated unequivocally that the "Invaders!" installation by Douglas Edric Stanley and displayed at the Games Convention held in Leipzig, Germany was produced entirely without TAITO's knowledge and that the use of the world-famous Space Invaders content was wholly unauthorized. The "Space Invaders: Die Jubiläumsshow!" ("Space Invaders: the Anniversary Show") exhibition of the Computer Game Museum Berlin hosting the installation was likewise planned and presented without TAITO's knowledge and authorization. Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today revealed that Silent Hill Homecoming, the latest installment of the popular horror franchise Silent Hill, will be available for the PC, in addition to the PLAYSTATION 3 and the Xbox 360. MumboJumbo Releases Game For Facebook

Little Farm, a farm-fresh matching game from Dallas-based casual game developer MumboJumbo, recently launched as a Facebook application. The flash-based version of the game operates under the same mechanic as the full-version of the PC game. In Little Farm, players click on a patch of the farm field and drag out the mouse to form a rectangle that has four patches of the same color in each corner.
