Viva Media To Publish RACE On In North America

Today Viva Media announced that it signed a deal for the pc game RACE ON. RACE On is the newest game developed by the award winning development team that created GTR, GTR Evolution and RACE. RACE ON features today's greatest performance cars, including the Chevrolet Camaro, Cadillac CT-V, Dodge Charger Super-Bee and Challenger SRT8. Viva Media CEO Carlo Voelker commented, "Gamers will be excited to take these amazing muscle cars around some of the best tracks in the world including Laguna Seca (CA) and Road America (WI)." The game is scheduled to roll into retail on September 15th.

Cursed Mountain Creeps Onto Wii

Deep Silver Inc., a publisher of interactive entertainment software and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Koch Media, today announced that the highly anticipated Wii exclusive survival horror game Cursed Mountain has shipped out to retail stores. More Left 4 Dead 2 Planned For PAX

Valve today announced that Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2) will be shown and playable during the upcoming Penny Arcade Expo (PAX), held September fourth thru sixth in Seattle, Washington. After debuting "The Parish" campaign (set in the New Orleans' French Quarter) at E3, and "Swamp Fever" at Comic Con San Diego, the PAX showing will unveil "Dark Carnival", the third of the five campaigns shipping with L4D2 this fall. The premiere of the new leading trade fair for interactive entertainment and games – gamescom – has been a complete success. 245,000 visitors came to the Koelnmesse site from 19 – 23 August to experience and try out game novelties provided by 458 exhibiting companies from 31 countries.
