Extent Launches Games On Demand

Exent Technologies Inc., a global leader in secure digital software delivery technologies, is launching a new content aggregation service for its turnkey customers who provide Games-on-Demand services to consumers.

Exent’s content aggregation service will further reduce capital expenditures and time required to launch Games-on-Demand offerings, already minimized by Exent’s turnkey service. Companies using Exent-powered turnkey services can easily add new games to their Games-on-Demand services without having to approach publishers directly for licensing rights.

Exent has already secured more than 500 titles for its content aggregation service. The catalog includes games of many different genres such as action/adventure, first person shooters and children’s entertainment/educational offerings. Exent’s customers offer games through tiered subscriptions and other business models.

"Publishers are embracing the fact that Games-on-Demand services, powered by Exent, continue to show market expansion potential, creating new revenue windows and reaching new audiences," said Zvi Levgoren, Exent’s CEO. "The increased speed that hit titles are going from store shelves to Games-on-Demand testifies to the confidence publishers have in this opportunity. We’re gratified that publishers see that the Games-on-Demand industry is maturing and trust Exent to handle distribution deals for their licensed properties."

The Exent turnkey service provides all the elements needed for broadband service providers, consumer portals or consumer brand owners to digitally distribute games to consumers through a subscription, rental, try-before-you-buy or purchase model. In addition to the new content aggregation, Exent’s turnkey service consists of technology infrastructure, consumer customer service, billing and Web destination. The different elements can be delivered as a complete package or in individualized configurations to enable companies
to select the optimal combination of outsourced and in-house operations.
