God of War Director Cory Barlog Joins Crystal Dynamics

Crystal Dynamics, a Square Enix studio, announces today that it has hired industry veteran Cory Barlog to its development team. Best known for his work on the God of War series where he served as director on God of War, Writer/Director for God of War 2, creative director for Chains of Olympus and story creator for Ghost of Sparta. Ubisoft has finally unveiled the new hero and setting for Assassin’s Creed III, which will hit stores on 31 October 2012. Dubbed as the most ambitious project for the series yet, gamers will be thrown into the late 18th century for a battle between the British Army and George Washington’s troops. Our hero is Ratohnhaké:ton, otherwise known as Connor. He is half Native American and half English and the latest Assassin to take on the Templars.
