Procrastinating At Its Best, or Worst?

Welcome Time Wasters!

If you’re new here, then welcome! If not, then you probably already know that this piece is one for procrastinators that like to slip a few extra minutes of gaming in whenever they can. Fun Fact: Sometimes I procrastinate the Time Waster!

That’s a big surprise right? I mean, the Time Waster is already meant to be for small games that players can spend just a few minutes on. How on Earth could I not find time to do this every week. Well, every once in a while, a game comes out that completely captures a person to the point that they forget about everything else that’s going on. This was one of those weeks. It sucks, but hey, what’re you going to do.

It’s kinda like Inception.

With that little bit of info, I’m sure that some of you are wondering what I’m playing that has me so entertained I’d forget about my Time Waster duties here at GiN. It’s a funny story really. See, I can’t tell you what I’m playing. I can’t even drop a hint as to what it is. What I can tell you is that my review for it will be coming out soon, but that’s all.

With all that being said, maybe I should review my work ethic to make it a little better. Well, let’s be honest, I’m known as a bit of a procrastinator. I even failed to get anything productive up and running for the Time Waster.

All this means my work ethic sucks pretty hard. I think this must be a fairly common trait, so I can’t say it’s very original. It’s also not something that keeps me entertained for long periods of time, which means it can’t be very addicting. However, I will say that everything looks good, being that this is the real world and all that, and there aren’t many bugs. I also have an awesome collection of music to listen to when I work, which is a plus.

Overall, my work ethic could definitely use some improvement. It fails to meet my standards and could of really used some more time being developed. I guess at least it looks good.

My work ethic gets a single GiN Gem out of 5 this week for failing all my faithful readers. Seriously, all jokes aside, I apologize. Here’s to better things to come next week.

Also, be on the lookout for a review of that game I was talking about.

NOT SO STEALTH UPDATE: I’ve been given the word that I can say what it is I’m playing for review. It’s Fallout 4!

Billy White
Billy White writes the weekly Time Waster review for GiN. As you might expect, this makes him the embodiment of procrastination at GiN, which works out perfectly since his job is to find fun ways to waste time. Billy came up with the idea behind GiN's Weekly Time Waster when he realized that a lot of great but smaller games don't get the attention they deserve. It helps that he spends a lot of his free time spelunking the Internet for the best browser based games. When not "wasting time" Billy likes to delve into the world of RPG's, and it doesn't matter what type of RPG it is. From Elder Scrolls to Final Fantasy and all the way to tabletop RPG's, Billy loves them all. To go along with this, he loudly proclaims to anyone who will listen that Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross are the two best games to ever exist and hopes that one day his write-in campaign will convince Square Enix to revisit the series.
