Voices Heard Opens Scottsdale, Arizona Office

Voices Heard Media expands in the western region as the company makes its mark this week with the opening of a new office in Scottsdale, Arizona led by Craig Nealy, Executive Vice President of Sales and General Manager of Media Conglomerates and Global Partner Alliances. Nealy is joined by newly-appointed Chief Operating Officer, Meredith Munger.

With over 15 years of leadership, marketing, sales and management experience, Craig has led business development efforts, sales and client relationship management at some of the fastest growing and most successful technology start up companies. Nealy’s focus with Voices Heard Media is to design and implement their global go-to-market sales strategy and assist in the realization of such strategy. "This is accomplished through providing a solid business framework and introductions to my global media conglomerate portfolio," Nealy said. Craig will assist in removing standard business barriers to fast track revenues and exponentially grow business while creating greater shareholder valuation.

Erik Merkow comes on board as the Director of Engagement Strategies. He has more than 20 years of experience managing complex sales organizations that deliver double-digit revenue. Merkow’s most recent experience is from the media-publishing world as Vice President of Sales with 944 Magazine and startup men’s magazine Rebel. Erik’s experience with media will provide a strong focus for growth with online media, enterprise, entertainment and sports verticals

Greg Baudo joins Voices Heard Media as a Manager of Engagement Strategies after leaving FetchBack, Inc. where he was a National Account Executive. Previously, he was a senior account executive at CareerBuilder and a marketing representative for Red Bull, where he specialized in product placement, event planning, and sports marketing. Greg’s past experience will help drive our growth with on-line publishers.

Brian Laesch rounds out the Scottsdale team as Sales Engineer. He recently completed his MBA with a Marketing emphasis at Arizona State’s W.P. Carey School of Business. Previously, Laesch lived in Los Angeles where he worked in TV production for New Wave Entertainment and film post-production for New Line Cinema. Most recently, he worked as social media manager for The Rundown and VP of Web Development for Golfstat.

The expansion of the sales organization and the launch of the new Scottsdale office will help Voices Heard Media enter into new markets, support the demand from its media conglomerate customers like Disney, Fox Sports, AOL, Huffington Post and Scripps and grow sales nationwide. Voices Heard Media continues to rapidly expand its sales organization and account managers nationwide.

Meredith Munger, who works in Scottsdale, joins Voices Heard Media as Chief Operating Officer and will oversee national operations and marketing. Previously, Munger served as a consultant to Military.com/Monster.com after that company acquired her online community and magazine, CinCHouse.com, where she was CEO and editor. Munger also has extensive experience with start-ups (Careerbuilder, Iridium) and Fortune 500 companies (Motorola, Eli Lilly, Boeing) working as vice president as Fleishman Hillard and previously Hill & Knowlton and Burson-Marsteller in Washington, DC. Prior to that, Munger served as director of Public Relations for the American Enterprise Institute and legislative assistant to Senator Jon Kyl (R-AZ). She is a member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences where she judged the 2010 Webby Awards.

"The expansion of Voices Heard Media will help us keep up with demand for our social media applications and consulting services," Overstreet said. "I’m really excited to see where this year takes us."
