Six Flags And Ubisoft Partner For Game

Ubisoft announced today that it has acquired the publishing rights for Six Flags Fun Park from former publisher Brash Entertainment. Partnering with Six Flags, Inc., the world's largest regional theme park company, Ubisoft will release the game for the Wii home video game system from Nintendo to North America stores on March 10, 2009.

Six Flags Fun Park offers players of all ages the entertainment and fun of a Six Flags theme park in a video game setting. The game includes more than 40 mini-games and rides, including boat racing, skee ball, haunted houses and batting cages. Players are also rewarded with coins and tickets for performing good deeds around the park, such as picking up litter and helping out patrons.

"Ubisoft is excited to work with Six Flags on this fun new family game," said Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Ubisoft. "With Six Flags Fun Park, consumers can now enjoy a Six Flags experience in the comfort of their own homes."

Six Flags Fun Park for Wii retails for a suggested price of $19.99 and for a limited time each game will include a free child's admission ticket (a $29.99 value) to any Six Flags Theme Park. Select Six Flags parks will also feature the game at Wii Experience locations, which feature ten console stations where visitors can try the game.
