Publisher Supporting New Zealand Quake Victims

PikPok, a leading smartphone game developer and publisher based in New Zealand, today announced that for the next month it will be donating half of all profits from the #1 selling app, Flick Kick Rugby, to support victims of the recent Christchurch earthquakes.

With multiple earthquakes registering between 5.1 and 7.2 on the Richter scale over the past three days, the destruction has been devastating, causing more than $4 Billion in estimated damage. PikPok will make its donation to the New Zealand Red Cross on October 11th, 2010.

"Rugby is New Zealand’s national sport and we felt this could be a great way to help the many people that have lost their homes, businesses and cherished memories in the recent quakes," said Jos Ruffell, manager of the PikPok label. "As a New Zealand studio, we have many friends that have been affected and we hope we can provide support thorough our games."
