Limited Run Games, a premium publisher of physical video games, announced today, in partnership with Pioneer II and Screaming Villains that the remastered full-motion video classic Prize Fighter: Heavyweight Edition is stepping back into the ring with exclusive, numbered physical editions for PlayStation 5. It’s also available on Steam.
Originally developed by Digital Pictures, Prize Fighter takes players closer than a ringside seat placing them directly into the gloves of an up-and-coming contender battling through the ranks for the heavyweight championship. Rebuilt from the ground up, Prize Fighter: Heavyweight Edition restores and remasters the cult classic with enhanced 4K video, smoother gameplay mechanics, quality-of-life improvements, and bonus content.
Limited Run Games is bringing this SEGA CD classic back into the ring in an exclusive numbered physical edition. Priced at $29.99, the all-new physical edition of the game will include a numbered game case, high resolution cover art, the disc and a stunning eight-page booklet.
