Blizzard announced a free beta play weekend for Diablo III, with open access to all players with a valid Battle.net account. Beginning today, April 20th, everyone is invited to log in and help us put the game and servers through their paces in a three day stress test as the game moves toward the May 15 release date.
Players can begin downloading the Diablo III client immediately for Mac or Windows here: https://us.battle.net/account/download/index.xml
Once done, players will be able to play Diablo III from Friday, April 20 at 12:01 p.m. PDT (noon), until Monday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m. PDT. Players without a Battle.net account can create one for free to play during the free weekend.
So get out there and start killing demons!
