The winners of the gamescom awards 2022 have been announced. These awards were presented in twenty categories at the gamescom: Opening Night Live which was hosted by Geoff Keighley and the gamescom Studio.

The jury for the gamescom award made a unanimous decision. The big winner of gamescom 2022 is “Lies of P”. The jury distinguished the Souls-like title which is based on the Pinocchio story also as a winner in the categories of Best Action-Adventure Game, Best Role-Playing Game, and Most Wanted Sony PlayStation Game in that platform category. The rhythm shooter “Metal: Hellsinger” was distinguished as the Most Wanted PC Game and also for Best Action Game. Daedalic Entertainment from Hamburg, Germany was delighted to win the Best Indie Game and the Most Original Game for its title “Inkulinati.” PLAION received the distinction for the Best Line-up of gamescom 2022.

The jury of the gamescom award showed the worldwide gaming industry’s solidarity with Ukraine by presenting the HEART OF GAMING Award to the Game Industry Solidarity Campaigns for Ukraine. These include the big campaigns in games in which millions of Euros in donations have been collected for the Ukrainian population, and also the fast aid for game developers provided by their colleagues from all over the globe. The international game industry showed its solidarity with Ukraine promptly and resolutely in a wide range of ways.
