Fredrik Wester Becomes Paradox CEO

Paradox Interactive today announced that Fredrik Wester will serve the company as Chief Executive Officer, effective April 2, 2009. As CEO, Fredrik is responsible for all sales and marketing related activities, the complete Paradox portfolio of games as well as several business development projects.

Fredrik originally joined Paradox in 2003 and was named Director of Publishing in 2004. Mr. Wester was then promoted to Executive Vice President in January, 2007.

"Leading Paradox has been a goal of mine since day one here," said Fredrik Wester. "We have an outstanding internal team in place and have developed partnerships that will help elevate Paradox to the next level. I look forward to leading that charge."

Paradox, widely known for their strategy PC titles, is in the midst of a successful 2009. They are currently readying several highly anticipated PC titles for release, including the sequel for Majesty- The Fantasy Kingdom Sim and the third installment of Hearts of Iron.
