E3 News: Teen Payment System Oink Inks Deals With Ubisoft, Others

oinkNEWSOink, the award-winning payment technology for families and teens provided by Virtual Piggy, Inc. (OTCQB: VPIG), today announced that it has partnered with Ubisoft and a number of video game companies on current and next generation payment solutions.  In addition to Ubisoft, Oink has agreed to deals with the following gaming companies: OnNet, Woozworld, WarGaming and Crytek. The announcements were made to coincide with the kickoff of The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2014 (Oink will be at meeting room 5735 in the West Hall).

With all these deals, Oink will be the official payment option for teens when it comes to purchasing games, additional gameplay and downloadable content for console, PC and wireless games. In addition, Oink announced that it will be rolling out game-specific deals in Q3 and Q4 of this year.

Oink’s announcements at E3 highlight a very busy year as the company continues to grow and diversify in all areas, including deals with the Discover Network, LiveGamer, World Pay, and GlobalCollect. In addition, the company hit a very important milestone earlier this year by reaching over one million consumers worldwide.

“It has been an incredible year for the momentum of Oink and the companies that we have partnered with, ending the mystery of online payment for teens and their parents alike,” said Dr. Jo Webber, CEO & Founder of Oink. “We feel that our technology is perfect for the video game industry and are confident that our partners will be able to bring a one-of-a-kind security and payment experience to their large fanbases.”

Oink is the only payment technology designed to allow retailers and game publishers to reach under age 21 consumers in a safe, legal and effective manner compliant with the FTC and other international regulations. This innovative technology serves as a digital family wallet that is available online or via mobile devices and allows safe, secure transactions – all within parental controls.
