This week for Serial Saturday I’m doing something a bit different. It’s all about A Question!

Hey all so this will be a quick post and mainly a question. I’ve recently been moving away from reading English original novels, because frankly most of the decent ones I’ve either already covered or they have been published into Audiobooks already, or both. The rest are all pretty substandard and lackluster compared to the ones I’ve read before, but I have since found a new avenue for different stories, Fan Fiction. Yeah I really hadn’t ever delved into it before 2019, but some of the stuff that is out there is pretty good, and I think I’d like to cover it.

So my question is this, and please do answer this with comments, both on my Blog and on GiN. Would anyone particularly care if I started covering Fan Fiction in my Saturday slots? I’ll have to come up with a new name for the column, because Serial Saturday doesn’t really fit, but I think I’d enjoy poking holes in various Fan Fictions. That said they’ll be mainly centered around either Books, or Anime/Manga series. Though there might be some, like one of my favorites is a crossover of Harry Potter and the Marvel universe, which is pretty freaking good. The fact it’s over 1.7 million words long and still being written isn’t bad either. This would be an entirely new venture for me, because Fan Fictions are hard to judge and review without actually knowing the original source material pretty well. I can’t promise it’ll be unbiased and completely accurate as I have experienced so many thousands of different stories that sometimes I mix up character’s stories.
